A word from the Director of PJ Music Studios
Pamela Smirl
I love what I do and it makes me so happy to be able to share my passion with others. Since starting as a professional Music Teacher over 30 years ago, I’ve been privileged to see so many students discover their natural skills and abilities and reach results they never dreamed were possible. COVID-19 UPDATE
We would like to keep your children's minds and musical enjoyment active.
We have online teaching available for the students. We would be happy to teach them on line until this virus pandemic is over. Would this work for you?
We also are being very vigilant with hand washing, cleaning of instruments, keeping distances, using different instruments for demonstration purposes. Eg teacher on one piano, student on the other and of course washing the keys inbetween the students. You may choose this method or online...whatever your preference.
We also have our home visit teaching .... with vigilant hand washing and distance kept.
Students could keep their times or arrange more convenient times if needed.

Amazing PJ Students
Conservatory Canada Awards and Diplomas
The annual convocation ceremony at Conservatory Canada is our opportunity to acknowledge the many talented musicians who undertake our examinations, and to recognize their achievements in person. Each year we award over 180 medals and more than $30,000 in scholarships to students across the country. We also present Associate and Licentiate Diplomas, including an Honorary Licentiate Diploma awarded to an acclaimed musician or pedagogue who has made significant contributions to their musical community.

Danae's Symphony Ensemble Piece
Medieval Sea
Danae Kong was accepted to participate in the wonderful VS New program where she had the opportunity to work with musicians of the Victoria Symphony Orchestra in composing her piece, Medieval Sea.
